We were homeless in Merced for 5 years and lived in our car with our dogs. We got into the program, Project Room Key, for 3 months, then we went to the Navigation Center for 3 months - we were among the first participants at the Navigation Center. From there we went to a Mission bridging home for 10 months. Now, thanks to Merced Rescue Mission and Sierra Saving Grace we got our apartment!
