Hope for men & hope for women

Nine-to-twelve-month structured, Christian, residential program providing spiritual growth, life skills training, Bible Studies, and community service. This is a recovery and stabilization program in which participants will be well-equipped to work through the defining issues in their lives and become contributing members of our community.

It is our purpose to provide men and women with an environment where they can discover Jesus Christ and a whole new way of living.  The Hope for Men and Women programs take in men and women free of charge for three months to a year.  This is a residential program where men experience a family-like setting in the Hope for Men’s house, and likewise, women experience a family-like setting in the Hope for Women’s house.

Each morning following devotions, participants attend Bible studies and classes that help them with overcoming adverse childhood experiences, parenting and anger management, and servant leadership that prepares them for re-entering the job market.  Every afternoon they are required to provide volunteer community service.  In the evening participants once again attend Bible studies, Love Plus, and Celebrate Recovery.

When men and women complete this program, we see them reuniting with their families, getting jobs, finding housing, and becoming part of a church family.  From the streets or from incarceration this truly is a picture of life transformation.

It takes a Village of Hope to bring about life transformation in the lives of men and women in our faith-based program, Hope for Men and Women. When you give to our life transformation program, you are supporting housing, meals, and most importantly, staff who provide counseling and teach classes to bring men and women to life change through Christ. Your donations bring about real-life change and reduce homelessness in Merced County. Your donations change lives! Give one time or choose monthly giving. Give today!
